As concerns over the political situation were expressed around the country, many were concerned that the US would be pulled into the conflict. Operation Empowering Hope prayers for their safety increased. Especially after we received this message, followed by weeks of silence. “We are living in moments of tension here. I know that prayers always have the answers. I packed a bag for possible evacuation, and it's impossible not to feel anxiety or nerves, but I have Faith that we will be protected! I trust our Savior.”
After three long weeks of silence, we praised God that he was alive and able to respond to our messages.“Thank you so much! It takes a lot to keep a positive mindset after many obstacles, bad expectations, or when you are waiting for the worst to happen. But, I remain positive, with an unbreakable faith, because my Savior will be on my side no matter what happens. I'm here on purpose, and I'll be where He needs me! Prayer requests, for us to be protected and for all people suffering for the unconscious of leaders whose hearts are not healing, for them to heal and be real leaders, to stop the war and suffering of families who are getting destroyed, I pray for a better world, I pray for real leaders who will put people first and for No more War! Every morning, I feel so thankful to have the opportunity for another day! Thank you for the prayers! ” His reality means we need to continue praying for him, the Soldiers he works with, and the many others who are deployed in harm's way. His daily reality is tough; he needs our prayers even though we continue to have weeks of intermittent silence.
