It takes TEAM work

This past quarter, Operation Empowering Hope had the awesome responsibility of walking alongside and encouraging another Chaplain as the battalion she worked with was disbanded. This caused major disruption not only for our Chaplain, but also the many Soldiers she worked with. She took the time to get us the awesome certificate of appreciation! We continue to pray over her as she learns the duties and responsibilities that come with her promotion and her new battalion.

Another Chaplain recently shared,“Good morning Glenda, I hope this email finds you well. Thank you and your ministry for the care package. Soldiers and Staff do reap the benefit and are very impressed about your ministry and what you and your team does. I hope this serves as an encouragement, as it has for me. There are times when I get caught up with policies and get distracted about things that hinders me more than the actual ministry that God entrusted me with. In retrospect, I am reminded how the Lord is blessing the ministry He has entrusted me with, regardless of values, ideals, and beliefs. Ultimately, it is not about measuring my accomplishments, but the work He does behind the scenes and being in control of the things I do not have control. Thank you and your team!” You are a part of the team, if you pray weekly, donate items, volunteer, or help financially. We have the exciting responsibility to keep stepping up and doing what God has given us to do.
